Much Business

I'll try to get the next portrait up here soon. I've got a lot of work to get through at the moment and I was trying at some point last week to work out how I'm going to show the portraits from this blog in my portfolio. The main advice I've been given so far is MORE and BIGGER so I'l need to work out how and where I'm going to get this page printed bigger than the A2 version in the photo. That and add a load more of the portraits. It's nice to see them side by side though.

If Only

There have been a lot of exciting projects over the last few weeks leaving little time for face drawing. I'll get back to it soon.

A project I've been working on with the lovely people at Fishburn Hedges for the National Science and Engineering Competition has just been featured over at the Guardian Website. Go to the Guardian site to see more of the images.

'If only ... ' Leading figures from the worlds of entertainment, science and business reveal the inventions they wish existed, with a view to encouraging Britain's budding young scientists and engineers to enter the National Science and Engineering Competition.

Ok, I think this is going to be the last Where The Wild Things Are inspired portrait for now. There's some photos of Geoff McFetridge's rather splendid work on the final credits over at We Love You So.

I was just pointed in the direction of this excellent piece about Where the Wild Things Are and Spike Jonze over at the NY Times. You should read it if you haven't already.

I've had a lot of emails lately from people saying they saw the blog on Andalusian TV. Anyone care to shed a little more light on the matter?

It's Evolution Baby

Mother Nature is probably quaking in her snake skin boots. This looks a little different for something for me to be involved in but I just finished collaborating on an entry for E4's E Stings competition. Again created with Stephen Wake, this pretty much outlines Darwin's Origin of Species as we understand it.

See more entries on the E4 website.
